Mission, Philosophy, and Values
Cary Academy is a learning community committed to discovery, innovation, collaboration. These core
commitments drive our work at CA; they are the reason our dynamic faculty and staff get up in the morning. And it’s why you’re going to love learning here. Well, that, and because we put you in the driver’s seat to keep learning personal, flexible, and relevant to your life (that’s kind of our secret sauce).
And about that whole making an impact thing…. our Center for Community Engagement brings
together service and experiential learning, entrepreneurship, and equity and inclusion initiatives to provide new and transformative opportunities for our entire community, on campus and beyond.
“Not only did I get an amazing education at CA, but I got the value of experiences and a community that I wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else. CA has given me the belief that I can change the world, and that motivation and confidence is one of the best things they could have given me. I am so proud to be a Charger, and will always be, because of the community of kindhearted people that want to make the world a better place.”

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Our diverse community is one of CA’s greatest strengths. And your voice is essential. That’s why
we work hard to ensure that everyone can fully participate and be heard with respect. We welcome and affirm our entire community through empathy, compassion, and a shared desire to learn from each other. When we work together, we can accomplish — and understand — so much more.
