The St. Laurentian Singers will perform in Berger Hall Theater on Saturday, March 16, at 3pm. The Singers are a select coed choir of 24 undergraduate singers from St. Lawrence University. The ensemble has won wide acclaim and, in addition to their many performances on campus and in the North Country, has toured extensively. Still, this tour marks the ensemble’s first visit to the Carolinas. In Berger Hall, the Singers will feature various sacred and secular works from the modern era, including an arrangement of Korean folk songs, a Marian hymn setting, traditional Appalachian songs, and other works. The concert is free and open to all who are interested.
