Girls track wins third straight TISAC

This past weekend, the CA girls track and field team won its third straight TISAC championship, 176-161, over Ravenscroft. Sarah Bodmer was named Most Outstanding Athlete of the meet.

The CA boys had their two-year TISAC championship streak ended in a tight battle with DA, finishing runner-up, 114-118.

Both teams will get a re-match next week at the NCISAA state championship in Rock Hill, SC.

Individual conference champions, earning All-Conference honors were:

  • Sarah Bodmer, 3200m, 1600m
  • Emily Lane, 800m
  • Olivia Halferty, High Jump
  • Madi Rockett, Pole Vault
  • Dorrit Eisenbeis, Olivia Frazier, Hannah George, and Emily Lane, 4x800m Relay
  • Christian Sodano, Pole Vault, new Conference Record of 14′ 00″
  • Coleman Mitchell, 3200m, 1600m
  • Tommy Bright, 800m
  • Chapman Fitzgerald, 400m
  • Jacob Henderson, 300m Hurdles
  • Eddy Sherman, 200m
  • Tommy Bright, Coleman Mitchell, Chase Coley, and Ray Faison, 4x800m Relay
  • Sam Chow, Jacob Henderson, Joe Niemchak, and Eddy Sherman, 4x200m Relay
