What is the key to understanding each other? What allows us to open ourselves to the diverse experience and perspectives of others? How can we create a community strengthened by our differences, rather than one divided by them? How can we engage in difficult conversations around important—and even polarizing—issues in ways that support, respect, and validate all our community members, their belief systems, and backgrounds?

Congratulations to both CA swim teams on a terrific performance at the State Meet in Greensboro Monday. The girls dominated on their way to a second consecutive State Championship. Anjali Velu (’18) has earned the Gold Award, the highest accolade awarded to a Girl Scout. Senior Trey Murphy has been selected to play in the 2018 North Carolina Private School All-Star game, featuring 14 players who have signed scholarships to play Division I basketball next season. Murphy has signed to play for Rice. The game will take place March 3 at Providence Day School. The East and West rosters below.
